Title: Throttlemeister for 2010 Xciting 500
Post by: jerry2 on December 09, 2012, 10:18:03 PM
I had a Throttlemeister on my old bike and used it a lot on long trips.  I'd like to put one on my 2010 Xciting 500Ri but I do not know what model of Throttlemeister fits my current bike.  Has anyone installed the Throttlemeister on their bike?  If so, what model did you buy?  If you don't know that, what is the size of the handlebar?  I'd need to start with that.  Is it a 1" or smaller?  Thanks for any info.

I use the small one on my Yager.  It fits well.

I use this one: http://www.louis.de/index.php?topic=artnr_gr&artnr_gr=10019598&lang=en (http://www.louis.de/index.php?topic=artnr_gr&artnr_gr=10019598&lang=en) for standard grips.

I use grips called grand touring. A lot of shops carry them. They are much thicker than stock, more easy to grip so I don't need anything else. They also do not slip on/in your hands when wet. I think emgo may make them? Really cheap and last forever. A Google search could find them. :-*
