anyone added footpegs to downtown 200i. i,m 5'11" and get cramped up not being able to strech out while riding. is it feasible to add footpegs? other option, try to rework seat to be able to sit farther back, like 3 inches or so.

Not sure about the Downtown but the Yager seat pan does not allow for much
rearward movement. In an effort to give you max under seat storage area they
mold some humps into the pan. Go to the Yager sub forum to see pictures.
Here's a link to some highway bar info from this site;

I have a 300i DT. and the same problem I cut the dome out of the seat were the helmet fits up into it, sitting on the seat feels much better, as I can slide back a couple of inches, and I rebuilt the foam higher by 2 " and cut off some of the foam off of top of seat back, so it is almost level, from front to back,now I can see right over my givi wind sheild, I have not gone on a long ride on it yet, but it feels good on short rides, it will be a while befor i do snow & ice on the road & im 79 years old, so I try to preserve the old bones ,. merry Xmas everyone joe

yea, i went ahead and cut out the dome in my seat pan also, then took out the butt pad on the foam part to where i was about level with the other. Now i can slide back about 3 inches or so and its a lot more comfortable being able t stretch out. only down side is stopping because i'm a little farther to the ground so be aware of that. still have the ridges on the perimeter of the seat pan. thinking of maybe trimming a little more and see what happens. just dont want to cut out too much and weaken the seat pan perimeter.
