Title: oil plug

so did any you guys take off oil pump?  and if so what did u plug it with?

I used one of these with the oem bracket retaining it.

Yep...Pep Boys should have 'em.  Just a note; the rubber these expansion plugs are made is not the most fuel safe.  I've been running the same one for about 3 years with no problems but I had to bend the oem pump retaining bracket to hold the rubber plug in. (I had it pop out twice in the past)  It does the job though!  ;)

For a more proper fit you could also try one of these....they're just more than I wanted to spend on a plug.

Get one from VT cycles, its faster than scooter assassins. You definitely want to make sure it seals, it can be devastating.

Ya im gonna get the real plug.  i went to pep boys bought one. Put in. I mean it looks nice and snug but when this sucker starts running might pop. But im long way from running.  maybe christmas. But im gonna take pics with this tablet so i can post.
