??? Hi all, my name is rob from long island new york!!!! I just got a 2004 people 150!!! It has not been run in a year & has a dead battery. Also no owners manual. I assume it is a 12 volt system but the battery is so small!!! I wasn't sure if you could kick start it like that or how to charge it up. The kick starter seems a little tricky like it sticks or is finicky .. Does anyone know how to get a manual ???I never had a scoot about before & I'm not even sure what type of license you need !!! Any pearls of wisdom are appreciated!!!

I don't know much about the People - I ride an Xciting 500. Usually you can find owner's manual online.
A battery charger will probably cost under $20.

Thx bongoman!!! I have a battery charger, but do you need a special one ?? Is it 12 volt???

If its sat for a while make sure you remove the cover and re-grease the kickstart spring inside.
remove all fluids, etc. (check out the forum for tips)
to operate a 150cc you do need a motorcycle endorsement on your license depending on where you live,
which isnt hard to obtain.
your local area may have you do a road test also but nothing major, easy stuff!
good luck
the manual i posted doesnt work anymore so i will try to find you one
