What voltage should I get for a battery tender? I have been told there are 6v and 12v.
Thanks!

I have a 2012 Like 200i. I use the 12v Battery Tender Jr. To make life easier I have connected the supplied looped ring connector to the battery that I routed to the bottom of the scooters. It comes out near the side stand (kickstand). Makes for a quick and easy hookup when I park the scooter in the garage.

Thanks!
How often do you use it? I might not always be able to park it inside so is once or twice a week going to help with overall battery life?

Are you going to be leaving it for extended periods of time? Seems to me that if run regularly the battery tender might be a moot point and I had this confirmed by at least one good motorcycle/scooter mechanic. However, there has been a lot of talk on these forums and the MB forums that it is a vital ingredient to a happy battery so I dunno.

Never used one... longest time parked is 5 days.... starts one click every time... my battery is 14 months old...

I use it daily. Most of my riding is on the weekends. When I get back home I just plug it in. That way my battery is always in the ready.

I use it when I won't ride for a few days.

I use a 12v trickle charger every day. If you ride every week you won’t need one but you will if you leave your scoot for weeks at a time. Weather is rubbish here so not getting out as much as I would like.
I run the cables from the battery so they come out under the seat. Just lift the seat and plug in.
Keeps the battery tip top and extends its life.

I have used a Deltran Battery Tender Jr. for years now. I use it everytime I'm not on my scooter. I own a home, but don't have a garage. I do have two outside electricial sockets so I can use the tender.
The best $25.00 ($23.30 @ Amazon right now) I have ever spent.

Then I needed an extention cable ($11.30 Amazon) here:

Kymco comes with Yuasa batteries (one the best in the industry) & when you use the Tender, it's not a reach to expect 5+ years battery life when it's on a "float" charge.
Good Luck!
