Greetings from Texas. New Kymco owner, new to the forum. Got an Orange 05' Super 9 2 weeks ago, used from a dealership with only 290 km's on it. Disc brakes RULE! Liquid cooling is sweet. I am a 42 y/o ex motocrosser. I have owned MANY scoots over the years. Honda Ruckus, Yamaha Zuma, Piaggio Typhoon, Honda Elite 80's and 2 250's, Aprilia Sport City 250. The thing that struck me about this scoot was its color and its look/features. Riding it makes me feellike Im riding an old CR80 around town leagally. 2 strokes arent for everyone but for my neighborhood and local shopping cruises, I love it. It screams along at about 45 top speed. Speedo says 50 but i aint buyin it. I know what 50 feels like. I have a chance to pick up another s9 (04' with 500 miles on it) for $1000. Should I snatch it up? Ride On! daws. Its a good deal looks new,i have topboy cobra 100cc 2003 1600 miles ,i drive to work 2 or 3 times a week,,,,also am i rebuiding the engine on a 2002 people 50cc also 2 stroke,good choice on your scooter
