I think my oil pump is dead so I've heard of people grinding the teeh down so it won't spin I've put a bbk on and pre mix now so my question is why can I not just pull the shaft out and bolt it down with out it in there so there is nothing to move its grinding some where and it's loud and I think that is the cause and when I turn the fan/alt I can see oil comeing out the base of the pump

Hey man, sorry for the delay on a response....
YES, That will work just fine. I run the same way on my zx and have done several kymcos the same way.
Just pull the shaft off and bolt it back... ;)
