Title: Did Kymco do away with the Clock?
Post by: MassScoot on September 19, 2012, 08:28:26 PM
Just wondering....Did Kymco do away with the digital clock? I'm wondering because I was @ my local dealer (they only had the Agility 50 in stock) & there was no clock. Seems like they replaced it with the Kymco logo.

Look @ this link here under "features" It mentions it has a clock.

http://www.kymcousa.com/showroom/scooters/agility125/index.html (http://www.kymcousa.com/showroom/scooters/agility125/index.html)

Then look at the specfications link here:

http://www.kymcousa.com/showroom/scooters/agility125/specifications.html (http://www.kymcousa.com/showroom/scooters/agility125/specifications.html)

Look @ the bottom under the list price of $1899.00. It states "Features an analog speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge"

Just wondering anyone has a 2012 Agility 125cc & can comment on it. Not a deal breaker by any means.

The clock is very important... you don't have to let go of the grip and look at your wrist watch...

The one with the clock has a 140kph speedo, maybe a 125 and the one without a clock has a 80 kph speedo, maybe a 50cc...

This is an Agility with the clock

This one has none....

It's official. I called the dealer I'm buying the Agility 125 from & the owner confirmed it. No more clock on the Agility 125, or @ least for the 2012 model. Just the logo now. I guess Kymco needs to keep the scooter price down to compete with the Chinese trash. I can always buy a cheap digital clock & mount it near the Speedo cluster.

Just an FYI...to my own post, I decided to get the Kymco Super 8 instead of the Agility 125. For the extra $600.00, I pick-up an extra 25cc (no biggie) & better fit & finish IMHO. Plus...I really dig the 14" tires vs. the 12"

I took both out for a test-spin & the Super 8 felt so much better for me! I'm a semi-large guy @ 6' 225lbs.

Yes, and it has a clock too...

The Agility 125 DOES still have the clock. I just bout a '13 model year and mine comes with it.  With as few amenities as you get with these barebones scooters, you notice the little things :P
