Where's Waldo, er Zombie?
I always look for a Zombie post and haven't seen any lately. I miss his cynical, intelligent, humorous,
biting sarcasm.

Nah, The big Z is not hedonistic like Charley. The Zom is the kind of guy you would want in your foxhole. He's your wingman. He's got your back. Best of all he's the kind of guy that makes me want to drop off the grid. Imagine no more taxes, SS nimbers, driver's license, credit cards, or any of the other strangling regulations, mandates, and timelines imposed on us by a government that has slowly morphed into the type of tyranny our founding fathers risked the hangman's noose to overthrow. We have become a nation of the Kardashians. We dance to the tune of the media's lies and are laughed at by the politicians that we elect to embezel from us. I'm tired. I'm 64. I'm recovering from a reck that has left me thinking about my mortality and my quality of life. I'm really thinking of moving back to Nicaragua. One last big adventure... off the grid. I had the "Z" man out for a day’s fishing when he started telling me he was building his own island out of old plastic Coke and Pepsi bottles all lumped together with fishing net, he even was going to plant a Palm tree or two to string up a hammock. His plans included a still for some moonshine, but then he grabbed my ass so I tossed him overboard, he called me Greta (as in Garbo) as he fell into the drink. I'm not sure what he was on at the time but I figure he's about half way to Cuba by now and we'll hear from him shortly.
Nice to know members in this forum care for the others.

I was reading some of Zombie's old posts this afternoon and what a gift he has. Mechanically factual with smooth flowing humour. If any of you out there have information such as his phone number or address please continue to try to contact him. Some of his latter threads began to sound like someone with real depression going on. He was talking about getting out of the scooter business and may have decided to stop his involvement with this forum. If that is the case fine, I can understand that but in many of his posts he expressed deep friendship with some of you guys and I don't think he would walk away without a goodby. If something more serious is going on such as being jailed I would be willing to post bond or offer any other financial help he might need. So keep trying and if I can help please let me know.

Mike that'sa very nice offer you've made, keep in mind none of us really know internet friends that well. Not that I want to talk you out of anything but to use caution with your money.
I dug around as much as I can with the information supplied me and came up empty on Zombie.
I placed another call to Wordslinger with no reply as of yet, wish I had more to add. The person I spoke with did give the impression that Mr. Wordslinger is fine and doing well, so at least he's not dead or off on the lamb.

would hope that someone someday could find it in their heart to help me. Zombie's abrupt abandonment of this forum may be nothing more than a personal choice, however, I doubt that he would do it this way without any word of goodby to his friends. So this leads me to believe that he is either ill or unable to access the internet. Based on some of his posts he walked a fine line between the two sides of the law and may be incarcerated. Thanks for your efforts and keep trying and keep us all in the loop.

I heard from Wordslinger today! He replied "about 6'2" to my message of "what ya up to?" I am thinking he was on vacation, spending time with family by the looks of his facebook posts for the day.

Later today I'll google the local newspaper and go through their obit's to see if there is a record of his passing. But the fact that wordslinger has dropped from sight at the same time makes me think maybe this is all a sham to get attention or something.

Im sure he'll turn back up when hes good and ready. After all when i 1st joined this forum Zombie and Word had not been posting for ages, all their threads were here but they were not, then after 3-6months they both just turned up and i got to knkw and love them.
Personally i think its a bit much to be contacting police forces and checking obituaries etc, im sure theyre fine and will return of their own accord when theyre ready. I thought they were both myths after reading all their posts till i met them.
Still love em both and will do anything i can to help either one if its needed but i doubt it is, or at least i hope my help isnt needed.

After a few weeks of not posting many of us thought it was unusual for someone who posted everyday and usually multiple times just abruptly stopped. This thread was started as a humorous expression of missing Zombie and light-hearted speculation as to what had happened to him; ie,
alien abductions, becoming an expatriot on a tropical island, and yes incarceration. When many of his close friends who had been given private access to Zombie's cell number, address, and work number were unable to contact him I would say that there was true concern about him. Now putting myself in his place I would be royally pissed off if the members of this forum iniated police contact while I was enjoying my favorite pipefull and a little nibble on my nub. I would also be gratefull if the same iniative found me in a back alley after I had the sh** beat out of me. So go back and read the thread and many of the same people who are so critical today really had humorous ideas as to Zombie's where abouts at the start.

I seriously doubt the cops will show up at zombie's door because he's missing on an internet forum. For all we know his computer fried. Or... was seized for identity theft or fraud. He was screwing with somebody that broke into his network :D

We all have our ifs, buts, do's and don'ts, but at the end of the day... that's what we are... we can all look really far back,, like what if we didn't buy a Kymco?, would this thread be any different or started at all... what if internet was not invented? Im not missing/dead/in jail/sick/kidnapped/abducted by aliens/eaten by a whale/in a coma..............and i just spoke with Wordslinger not less than a couple of hours ago, none of the above applies to him either, he is 100% fine (or as fine as he ever was) like Carol said earlier he has just been real busy at work etc and had interweb issues so had no time to come on here the last short while. So there you go, 2 down 1 to find. Says he hasnt heard from Z-Man but we shouldnt worry(i wasnt really worried) says Z'll turn up at some point. Hope that settles a few nerves? Calling the PD does not mean they will knoock on his door or drop by his house. You can simply ask if a person by this name has been arrested in the past few weeks. In his county they pubish a list once a month, we just need the latest month. So far I've been told I have to wait for the list to become published. Which we all know is BS the lazy bitch on the phone just didn't want to make a few cpu clicks.
Will try again but have no intentions of sending the coppers to his home, we don't know one another like that.

When I started this thread it was meant mostly as a joke and an effort to coax a response from Zombie. Little did I know that I would unleash a whirlwind. Not the first stupid thing I've done and not the last. I think it is obvious that for whatever reason Zombie does not wish to post anything
at this time. I also think it is time that everybody stop attempting to contact him unless you are a personal friend and have that right. So let's STOP. Let's shut this thread down and go back to other pursuits. I think Zombie would appreciate it and I feel that most of you who are loyal to this forum would appreciate it. And once again I'm sorry for starting all this wasted energy.

group's concience make the decision to stop posting on this thread. I bare full resposibility for starting this nonsense and would gladly lock it but I feel that is a bit dictatorial. It would be best
in my opinion if we allowed this thing to just wither on the vine by using good judgement and refraining from any further posts that keep pulling it back up to the top of the chronological list. I

Mike you DID start this on good faith and it WAS a "jokey" type thread in the spirit of one of Z's threads, thats why i chipped in my 2 cents worth at the start making light of it all. We all have a laugh here a lot of the time (well most of us do) and this thread was taken by me in that type of way, and as you have said that was how it was meant, no probs bro.
For me personally i just got out of hand when folk began going over the line and things went too far, imo. I know the reasons some went that way was just out of love for the Z-man and they missed him and his input on the forum, to me it was just too much tho, like i said thats just me. Just feels that some think Z or others are not allowed to have a break away or not post without letting everyone know beforehand ??? Thats not on really is it? If the guys been busy or been working hard and just wants some chill time then great let him have it, dont harrass him or start calling him etc. Z will be back whenever he get the urge or has time, until then lets just leave him be. Im sure he knows his bro's and sisters on here got his back and will be glad to welcome him back when he's ready.

I called the Sheriff today and was told "No perosn by that name has been arrested in this county in the past 2 months by our dept.
That leaves out local and state police and of course the FBI, CIA etc. But I'm not going that far in my search.
I also got the feeling that if I had "Zombie's" name and address wrong by even 1 letter they would not clue me in. The dept. in general was most uncooperative.

I saw a couple zombies a few nights ago, holding out their little bags for me to toss some candy into........I must buy more can for next year! Ran out after an hour and a half.
