Title: how to hook up tachometer gauge?

hi again, im planning to purchase a digital tach gauge for my s8. Just wondering if anyone knows what color wire is the tach? I dont know which one to tap in for a tach signal.

On my digital tach it has a single wire coming out the back which you just wind around the spark plug wire 2-3 times. Its powered from a large cell battery inside the tach.
