Today I carefully measured the gas used to warm the engine and travel a fairly level countryside 27 mile tour. I use hightest gas which cured the difficult warm-engine startup, but found the consumption to be rather disappointing. Some claims would have left me to believe that I should have gotten close to 100 MPG. I figure to have actually gotten about 62MPG.
I am curious to know what others experience.

I average around 100 mpg and have 7000 kmh on the scoot. My mechanic told me to use 87 gasoline and runs like electric motor. They really don't start running good to about 3500kmh got to break them in. How many kmh you got on it?

OK.. that's probably it, I've only got about 300Km on it so far.
Touring around the countryside I'm still working out how and when to pull over to the right to slow down and let the cars pass. I figure that most drivers are familiar with bicycle passing, so I try to hand them that.

Hold your line and let em go by. I don't know your scooter experience but it gets easier over time. You probably know this one but always be aware of whats around you if you don't feel comfortable pull her over.
