Title: cvt/clutch cover kick start spring help needed
Post by: tankboyben on August 28, 2012, 09:56:11 PM
Hi all

I finally managed to get the clutch cover off (by opening a serious can of whoop ass with the rubber mallet) and unrestricted my moped and now have some awesome extra speed (very happy)

However due to me thinking it might have been causing a problem i removed the circle/spring clip from around the kick start, this was dumb and the kick start post sunk in and the spring loosened and its all screwed up now, if i take it off altogether will it be easy enough to get it back on properly so the kick start works again or will i need some special tool to compress the spring?

as usual any help very much appreciated  ;D

I dont think you need any special tools. Never done it myself but it looks simple enough to do. Download the manual if you dont have it,should tell you in there.
