i want to change the colour of my agility. now i know on cars in the uk you have to tell dvla of the change so i would expect that on a scooter its the same. how do you do this? or does no one bother to report the change?

Here in the states we just paint if they ask they just run the vin # to see if its the scoot you reg,
its the vin # that matters............just keep in clean and dont paint over the # and you should be good.

Theres a section on your V5 form you fill in and send off for colour changes.
I resprayed my red A50 to Polar Silver about 2-3 months after i got it, around March 2011, still not sent off the form. In fact i still havent even filled it in yet :D

cool befor you do make sure you get lots of tickets for the past owner. lol

Nah, cant do that cos i did fill it in to register it to me, just didnt send it away again to tell them i changed the colour. Forgot all about it again till you just re-reminded me :D
If you can just remind me every day till i do it that'd be great......... :P

lol you may have to do same for me if i deside on a colour. at the mo its silver except the front light panel. the past owner painted it floresant green. would look good if he could sprey. : :-\
cant decide weather to paint silver again but all the panels. or go green and black like the"green hornet". yello and black"bumblebee"
fancy something diffrent from stock

Im planning doing mine Kawasaki Green with white wheels once the vespas up and running, and i said it 1st ;D
Green and black goes well too. Also thought of bright orange panels and black or white wheels. The orange or green would go well with the black plastics i think. Even yellow would go.

Well legally yes but like i said i did mine well over a year ago and havent gotten round to telling them. Must be so when the cops are chasing me they can put out an APB....

So, what color would you report for a 7-color Chameleon paint. Sometimes, it's blue, at another angle its violet or green.....?

well i just checked and oops! i forgot to mention the colour change when i registered mine, its down as black/silver. When i got it it was just pure black (badly sprayed) and under that was neon pink and yellow so it looks like the last 7 owners didn't bother to register the changes either.
its now army green with white and red rockets on the side

ok after changing all my body panels from a doner scoot to red. im still not happy. i want something a little special. i have decided not to paint it. during x mass . i have a plan to carbon fiber blick vinyl rap. cant wate to see how it turns out. has anyone done this? any tips?

Never did it myself but my neighbour who works for an advertising/promotional/exhibition company got some vinyl wraps made up at his place for his Honda sports bike fairings. Said it was simple and easy to fit using a hairdryer but then he does this every other day as a job. Looked great and wouldnt have known it was vinyl when looking at it if he didnt tell me. Front plastic will be simple and easy, only real difficult nit may be where the key goes in for the underseat storage, sure that bit goes in a bit.

thats where the heat comes in when warm you can stretch and shape the rap. will be fun to do should look good in carbon. wife said i should do it in chrome.
