I'm sure you could, but I'd checkout blue tooth helmet speakers.

For short calls, yes, but for continuous music playing...Dangerous...

I tend to agree. Personally, I wouldn't listen to anything commuting, or running around, either with a headset, or open stereo. On the open road, cross country...Yeah I do it. Probably shouldn't, but Utah (US) has vast stretches of lonely roads and the risk doesn't bother me there. It's a lot less dangerous then most of the idiots riding here without helmets and body armor.
