Title: last part of tuning
Post by: whiteknight on August 19, 2012, 12:24:12 AM
right, the engine is fully broken in but there is one thing that is holding her back.....the carb...
shes fine UP TO half throttle, beyond that its like hovering a straw above some coke in a cup and you get that shhheeerrrp noise. basicaly shes emptying the bowl before it can be filled up again. i cant change the float level because i will flood the carb, how should i go about sorting it out?
i did try and figure it out in my head but after a tonne of head scratching and smoking 100 rollies i gave up.
once the carb is tuned properly she will be able to go WOT and i can finally see what she can do.
