Finally giving some attention to my CVT today. Got some new rollers and the belt I bought almost a year ago :D. Anyway, I have some pics of my rear pulley. I remember wordslinger had some pics of the restriction in the rear pulley.

I'm guessing that little ridge inside there is the restriction? Is there anyway to remove it or do I need a whole new pulley?

Looks like a restriction to me :-\
Cant you just dismantle the torque drive off and hacksaw the bit off? Or just buy a new torque drive rather than the whole pulley?
Im assuming the restriction part is on the torque drive side?

Yes it's on the torque driver(moveable) side... Yeah I'll have to search around for a new driver or pulley
Well I put the new rollers and belt on and have mixed results. I got 5g and 6g rollers. Started with the 5g and they were too light. I put the 6g rollers in and I think they're still a little light. I have a red contra spring so I think I need pretty heavy rollers. Feels like I'm slightly above the power band. Not as much torque as I had before. Wish I had a damn tach >:(. Like I said I have mixed results. When I went downhill I hit 55+. Which is definitely the fastest I gone ;D. I attribute this to the new belt. It's a little bit longer than oem.
... So, I just weighed my old rollers. 9.5g! I forgot I had really heavy rollers in :o. I think I need either 7 or 8 gram rollers with the red contra... I could put the yellow contra spring back in and see if the 6g rollers work better with that but... It's in the Z ::)... and the Z is out at my dads... What to do ???. Probably going to order some more rollers ???... I don't f'in know :D
