is it safe to use e10 petrol on our x500 carb?

My '07 carb model runs better on premium - U.S. octane 93. I don't remember what the manual recommends. Mine just runs better. And at 20,500 miles, the mechanic pulled the heads and said they look nearly new. He said U.S. premium grade has more detergents. Hope that helps.

thanks bongoman, currently i'am using a 97 octane rating petrol but i think we have diffrent ratings here on my place. there is nothing written on the manual that says it is safe to use biofuel.

what bothers me is that there is rumor here that petrol stations will be required to mix biofuel on all petrol products.
