How can you tell if the drive boss is restricted or not ? I have a 2004 S-9 that I bought for $100.00,it had been bounced off a couple of trees and had broken body parts;which with a lot of epoxy and a drimmel I have repaired. It ain't stock but I think will look good once painted. After I finally got it started with a new set of rings my top end is 45-50 mph,as far as I know this scoot is stock. How can I tell if drive boss has been changed ?Scooter runs great on flat land and down hill but a long uphill and I almost have to get off and push lol(pushmoble).

The drive boss unrestricted has no shoulder on it,in other words its the same diameter all the way across it's entire length.

If you are already doing 45-50, it is most likely fully derestricted

HE IS RIGHT, IF YOU CAN DO MORE THEN 30 MPH THEN IT IS NOT RESTRICTED------

+1 on that. You aren't restricted.
