Title: Heavier Bar ends on Yager....

Since day one, I found that the Yager is quite light on the front end (maybe because I am used to heavier scooters).
I started noticing some wobbling after adding a topcase. I decided to install those Jettin Industries bar end weights I had left from another scooter.
After a lot of hand filing and shopping for metric screws, I got them on.

The front end is now MUCH more stable, precise and almost vibration free.

For info, the OEM bar ends are 195 and 220 gr. vs 495 gr each for the new ones.

Thank you for the tip! I have found that the stock ones are a bit light as well. Time to find heavier bar-ends.

Ludo,

     When you fitted your Jettin bar-ends, did you re-use the mounts already installed in the handlebars? They seem quite firmly entrenched in there.

     I bought some 14.2g stainless bar-ends from HVMP.com, but I will require a different bolt and a touch of re-machining to make them work OK. Nothing that a quick spin in a lathe can't fix.

Yes, I re-use the same mounts.
The problem was that the Jettin weights came with a M6 screw and the mounts on the Yager are M8 size.
So I drilled in the weights and got some longer and bigger screws. I also added some washers on the throttle side since the mount is recessed.
Hope that everything makes sense.... ;D

MVP makes some great products.
You will definitely feel the difference with those weights (14.2 OZ maybe?)
