Hello everyone, I hope you all are enjoying the summer!! Just want to ask you all if you know how to stop the annoying squeeking from the givi windshield..... It is driving me bonkers. I just bought new rubber mounts that go in the bolt holes, dont know if that will help? I just wanted to ask my friends here for any advice. I thank you all for any info you may have!!
Have fun and as always....be safe!

Good evening Mrjlube,
I have a Givi dt293, no noise, works great in rain...super hot in Orlando, Fl.

My 07 with a Givi squeeks to. I have gotten used to it. But I am thinking of taking off the shield, and then putting some dry slide or silicon type of dry lube on the rubber parts. The noise is comming from the shield moving a tiny bit back and forth on the rubber parts. I would not use an oil based lube as it may damage the shield, and it gathers dirt. :-*

Cool. Thank you for the advice. I will try a dry lube!!

Nah, just make some rubber shims out of rubber stuff, loosen the mounts and shove the shims in where it looks loose between the shield and the mount. I use rubber straps and hoses, it quiets it right down when you tighten it up.
