Hi Vivo
Are you living anywhere near the floods that are occurring
in the Philippines? I hope you and your family are safe.

No Mike, just lucky I guess. Most of the flooded areas are those low lying areas and near the shores and river. My house is around 800 meters away from a big river and it seemed that the water did not rise that high although the first alarm went off yesterday at around 6:00 am. Last 2009, I was a flood victim. Water and mud were 15 feet high and damaged everything on my first floor. The water was around 2 inches below my second floor and my 2 kids were at home while my wife and I were at work. Good to have a 2-storey house.
This is what happened in 2009, hope it will not happen again.

Hi Karl, That was August 1 my first post. August 7...river overflowed and gobbled my house's first floor and my other car. My family and I had to evacuate and stay with my brother's house for two days. We have mud and garbage all around. We got home yesterday and had to clean everything and throw out a lot of damaged things also. Glad that my three dogs are alive. Wife and kids are ok but we still have no electricity. I'm here in the office to charge all our cellphones and to continue working. Thanks Karl...

Holy sh** man! I had no idea. My prayers are with you all. Looks like the TOP of one of those islands may be a good idea! We had a headline here the other day stating this has been the hottest summer on record in the US. In FLORIDA we have rained EVERY day for the past three weeks. Usually it is one two times a month in the summer. This has been a wild year.
If there is ANYTHING you need or need done I will be first in line to help. ANYTHING! I was wondering where you were.
Maybe in the future you all will buy plastic stuff, and get a plastic house. Astro turf lawn... Pet fish... a canoe.

..just here, where i live, we've had regular rains and a pretty good growing season...
..4 or 5 counties over, it aint rained a dozen times all year....
..hang in vivo...if you need us, you know where we are at least...
;)

@Zombie The top of the islands may have a crater or bandits. I'll stay here ;D
-
But craters have diamonds. That's why they have bandits too. Lower in one of the kids to see first.

Hey Vivo,
Sorry to hear about the flood damage, but glad to hear you and your family are okay. Hope the Mayan's were wrong and this just isn't the beginning of the end.

Well that's cheerful Wolf. With the Mayans in mind we all might as well get hammered, and forget about everything else! Frig the Mayans, and their half a calendar. They weren't smart enough to see the Spanish coming... How could they see the end of time? Frig them bastards.
Viva el Vivo!

Hope the Mayan's were wrong and this just isn't the beginning of the end.
If the Mayans were so smart they wouldnt have self-destructed and died off, and we'd all be speaking Mayan on here right now ;D
............or maybe they were smart, saw the sh**-hole that the earth was to become in the future and transcended to a higher place leaving all us assholes who called them stupid here to die!
Sh!t, now i'm scared :o
-
I think you don't need to be smart to see the earth's future... all you need is to be guided on the principle that "things come to an end"...
