Why have the SR28-22 slider weights for the Kymco Xciting 500ri been discontinued? Is there an alternative. Need to do a belt change and want to do the weights at the same time.

Did not here they were not offered anymore. I would never use them again anyway after how my belt exploded twice when using them. My not have been total fault of Dr P, but they were ground down to almost nothing in a few thousand miles. >:( ??? :'( :-*

I have a set of Dr. Pulley sliders in my Xciting 250 with a Kevlar belt. Been in for 8,000 miles. Improved performance. No problems. Was hoping to duplicate the same performance improvement on my 500Ri. Just don't have a source for the weights. If you know who sells them please post.

Union materials pulled their sliding rollers for the x500 do to major problems. I would never use them again. :'(

I had Dr. P sliders on my '07 and would never, ever use them again. First few thousand miles - 6 or 7 thousand, not many - they worked well. Then failed and cost $1800 to rebuild drive train due to slider failure. Be wary.
