Title: Good deal on People 50 2T CDI??

How would you get them direct from the factory? At worst a group buy! :-)

They are selling both an AC and a DC version, and both say they work with the People 50 2T.

Is the People AC or DC?

Post by: zombie on July 26, 2012, 12:24:43 AM: People's are DC fired stators. You can get AC adapters at Racing Planet or any other Nakaru dealer for around 70 bucks. The advantage of that is there are alot more usable cdi's in ac than dc. So future cdi's can be bought cheaper. There is not alot of difference in performance between the two. It is more about price point.

Also, Alibaba and Made-In-China.com want minimun quantity of like 100 on most things. I just can't order that many CDIs

Anyone else know a good cheap source, where I can order just 1? :-)

Shipping is usually more than the price of the unit. ie: 15 bucks for the part, and 20 for shipping. Otherwise use SPI or Racing Planet. Mention the forum at SPI, and get 10% off.
