Title: Mirror Stem Issues?

A friend of mine who owns a 2007 500 said that she believed that the 500 had problems with mirror stems breaking (and not from accidents).  Has anyone had experience with their stems?  If so, any suggested replacements?

Not that I've heard of - but then mine is a 2009 and they were no longer using the same mirror stem as on the 07.

I have a 2009 and mine just broke off while i was riding. I had 30000 plus. Justbpught a used onefrom my deleealer
