Title: Will these fit?

Found these... but not sure if they will fit. I know the picture is just a generic photo cuz all of them have the same pic.

It doesn't say they fit the agility but it seems like they would.

Anyone have any experience with these guys?

Sooooo after placing the order from the site that said these parts are available in the U.S. I got an email from them saying that they are not available in the U.S and they must ship from Europe... I'm assuming this means a long wait?

Those 1st jets you saw should fit ok.

Bummer about the variator  :(

Well I ended up getting the Naraku set. Ten jets sizes 100-120 in increments of two for $20. Sounded like a good deal, so I'll just cross me fingers and hope they are the right size.

..usually takes 7-10 business days for racingplanet overseas shipping...

..figure on a 2 week delivery if from o.s.

..if its in the states, they're pretty quick tho..

I almost ordered the molossi variation from the same place this week... Held off maybe I can find it somewhere else for a similar price.
Sux I saw it said they had it in stock too.... They have a good price on it with 6g roller too instead of 9gs like others.

..you will most likely want lighter than 6gr with the malossi anyway...

Yeah I already have a set of 5g rollers but so far the stock have been the best.... Maybe not with the new variator though.

Man scootertronics is expensive compared to racing planet. 129.00 to 82.00  might be worth waiting 7-10 days......

According to Racing Planet they did have both items I ordered in stock in the U.S. They sent me literally about 15-20 emails though, it was like one email for every statement they made and some of it made no sense. Hopefully that's not a sign of a horribly run business...

It would be nice if there was one site out there that stocked everything and had a phone they answered and shipped products quickly with decent prices...hmmm... Maybe everyone on the forum would like to invest in an exciting business opportunity, don't miss out, this is a once in a lifetime deal!

Also, I have 5.5g rollers in my stock variator right now... I'm assuming holding off on getting some sliders is a good idea until I get the Malossi installed.

But, should I go ahead a order a 1500 contra right now or hold off as well? it seems like that's pretty much standard with my setup...

Never bought springs before, does brand name quality make a difference?

Zombie has access to parts at dealers price, may be worth sending him a PM and asking for a price?

Supposedly they got it worked out and it's on it's way via express shipping so I guess it's too late... but will definitely keep that in mind for future reference!

What's the shipping time usually like?
Title: Re: Will these fit?
Post by: zombie on July 08, 2012, 05:24:56 AM
Several months if you act now!
No.. Steroido has it right... They ALL show "local" stock, and NONE of them have it. It's the worst part of tuning. Usually about 2 weeks avg. for any part you need. I've been ordering for a few months now, and it's always the same. If I did this to make money... I'd quit!
Just to rub it in,,, I ordered a Burial pipe approx 6-7 weeks ago, maybe 8-9 weeks. I was told it shipped 3-4 weeks ago. They still don't have a clue where it is, and are re-shipping in two weeks. (they have to build it). Same for three zx kits from China. One has been in Customs in San Fran for the past 3 weeks. The other two have not shipped yet.
On the Plus side... I get packages every day for my shop, and when a scoot part shows I stop work, and go play! Lot's of stuff I forgot I ordered!

I'm a fan of instant gratification, that doesn't work well with scooters...

Guess I'm very lucky having "Easyparts.nl" over here in the Netherlands - their stock information on the website is always correct, and if you only order things they have in stock it's even delivered next day ;D

I just ordered a variator fan from scooter parts express on eBay on the 6th and had it on the 9th and one of those days was a Sunday. Two days is the best "free" shipping I've ever had, I was amazed!

Slowly but surely... I was impressed when I came back from the winter season and ordered some parts getting ready for the riding season and saw the improvements in some of the sites.

Wot u mean "riding season"?  ???

You mean Jan-Dec, thats my season  ;D

I tend to get withdrawl symptoms if i dont ride every day, had stuff to get home from work yesterday so took the car, hated every minute of it.

Well Michigan winters are tough. 5 degree Fahrenheit days and a footed snow provide a challenge for me. I do drive a 2002 cavalier though, it's as closes you can get to a scooter while still being a car Hahahaha..... Aside from those damn Smart cars.

You want to try Scottish winters  :o they start around sept/oct and go thro till april/may.

If the road is clear and gritted then i ride, even if it is snowing. Think i only missed about 2wks last year due to a real heavy snowfall, couldnt even drive the car in it. I would like some studded tyres, if it wasnt such a hassle to swap wheels on the A50 i would buy a spare set of wheels and have them ready for winter with the studs fitted to swap over. Way too much bother tho swapping them over.

Hmmmmm......... ......no.  ;D even i wouldnt risk it in snow like is in that vid on the link. They do look good tho, but i'd be worried they flew off and hit someone  :o

I'll stick to my snowboard when the real snow arrives.  :)

I tried clamp-on's about 15 years ago. They roll over, and cut into the tire sidewall. One broke, and wound up inside the chain casing. I have used screw in studs with no issues.
