I am glad it is done not because it was so difficult, it was HOT!
There is a sequence to even get to the wheel which is no news to any of you:
Unplug Oxy sensor
Remove muffler (it is HEAVY)
Unbolt bottom of right-hand shock
Remove big nut from rear axle (impact is perfect for this but I had to use an axe handle thru the wheel....and a socket, etc.)
Remove side-plate (used a three-legged in or out puller which worked smoothly with little force)
Remove axle spacer
Remove mounting bolts to air cleaner so you can remove "hidden" 8mm hex head from left side of "fender"
Remove fender
Remove wheel (That puller works great on brake disc since the force is not high)
I am not going to insult you with all the little bolt details since you are all way ahead of me anyway.
I am further not going to insult you with the changing of the tire except I got some killer tire levers from the local cycle shop that made the old tubeless removal almost child's play. The levers were $20 US and there were three. I did toss in 1 oz of Dyna Beads before I seated the bead. I was told that Michelein had discontinued the 140/70-12 tire and Maxxis is no longer available so I got an Avon that looks like the oringinal Maxxis.
Yep, I did use a spray bottle of dishwashing detergent!
