Title: Derestricted sleeve and roller question
Post by: vdubn on June 17, 2012, 06:32:19 AM
So, I pulled the variator apart in my people 50 today, and noticed that all of the rollers have flat spots on them, and also that the sleeve is all one diameter.  Does that mean that my sleeve has already been replaced with a derestricted version?  If not, how do I tell what it should look like.

Also, I have new rollers on the way, I assume that they aren't supposed to have any flat spots on them, right?

For a Newbie you sure did your homework! You are correct on both.  Maybe you can help with my Ign timing curve?

I've worked on a bunch of scooters, atvs and motorcycles over the years, these are my first Kymco's, but they seem to have many similarities to other bikes.

What is your timing issue?

It was a joke... I don't really have a timing issue yet. I'm planing to real soon tho.
