I just bought a new people 150. I run full synthetic oil in everything else I own. The dealer I bought the scooter from does not recommend full synthetic for my scoot. What are your thoughts, and if I change over. How soon?

This has been discussed many ,many ,many times here but once again , there are motorcycle specific oils with special friction modifiers to accommodate their "wet clutch" design . Synthetic oils are too slippery for them and cause the clutches to slip . Your scooter has no such arrangement . I have run full synthetic oil in every 4 stroke scooter I have owned as well as in my cars . I belive it to be a superior lubricant . Good luck .

We'll probably never know for sure, but yeah, the owner's manual doesn't call for
synthetic oil for that engine, and we'll never know if synthetic will make it run better
or worse in the long run.
One thing is certain though.. it's better to change cheaper oil more often then think
that using expensive oil will enable you to skip regular maintenance engine changes.

Me too, i always use fully synthetic oil in my A50.
I used cheapest valvoline mineral 15W40 in my A125 and changed it per manual.
Sold it with 13.000 miles, never used a drop of oil.
Some engines probably work better with mineral oil.
Even my kawasaki's importer suggested using 15W50 mineral oil.. in a bike
with 72hp and 11.000rpm redline.

Synthetic if you can afford, mineral if you can't. Just shorter oil change intervals in mineral.
By the way, I use 15w/40 Delo Gold diesel oil (mineral)
