Title: 300 miles, (probably not) blowing oil

has anybody had oil appearing on the left side vent (by foot peg)?  I'm going to pop the seat recess tonight and have a look.

I would suspect the overflow vent from the transmission . Good luck .

THanks!  I looked inside and found the panel vent to be clean and dry inside looking out - as if it's an external source.  The accordion rubber tube is dry to the touch inside.  The round vent extends from the trans all the way forward and stops beneath where the toes are.  Can't get to it yet, i'll swab it with some qTips to see if it's emitting...
