I was putting my agility 50 back together and my needle on my automatic choke broke off, I continued putting it all back to gether and finally started her back up and she was idling crazy up and down and rough idling if i get a new automatic choke will that solve my problem

no Your choke has nothing to do with idling. its only for when you frist start the bike.
you may have to go over everything again on how you put the carb back in.I have ran my scoot
with out the choke on the bike at all. But then I have to kick start it. is it the stock carb.Also you can take a small pin and drop down the hole to block the hole. and tape a penny over the place wear the choke is lol I know its the red neck in me but it works. but then you have to use the kick start.

The up/down idle speed is usually a vacuum leak. Re check everything.

If you break the needle off your choke unit it will have the effect of always having the choke on, therefore it will idle with high rpm and a way too rich mixture when the engine gets warm...
So, when everything else is still OK, your problem should be solved by replacing the bystarter/choke unit.

Most scooter shops well have theam .they are all the same for the gy6 scooters.

I have one of those that doesn't fit very well on the Kymco carb, and I expect that it's not just my bad luck...
For ten bucks more you can buy an entire carb.

I have one of these chinese no-brand Keihin imitation carbs and it's not the same quality as the Kymco one.
On the other hand it does work fine and it's a complete replacement including the choke, which at least fits correctly on that carb.. (beware that your main jet from the Kymco carb might not fit in the chinese carb, mine takes the smaller Keihin type jets with M4 thread)
If you're short on cash and/or time you could buy a cheap carb (and main jet) and try to swap only the choke unit first.
If you're not short on cash and like to do things The Right Way (tm) you're probably best off ordering an OEM Kymco choke....

the real kymco carb is better but ya short on cash works good too. just have to make sure it has all the right jets.

A little off subject, but does anyone know where to find the gasket that seals the two halves of the carb together? I have found gaskets for the off-brand chinese scoot carbs, but those are different than the Kymco carb gaskets. The only option I found was buying an entire carb from Kymco which was something like $150...

Stadium Yamaha? I don't know if they sell rebuild kits. Or Treatland... They sell all sorts of carb parts. Mention the forum at both. (CALL)
