I need help
Hi there, I need help.
My Kymco Super 8 125cc can not be idle.
I've been forced to put idle very high for it not to be
halt. It gives sometimes a "klonk" from a little loud sound
and so it goes either out or goes down a lot of turns.
What could it be? Is it the ignition to be made? Is this auto
The choke is not working more or is it the carburetor has come
dirt? I know it has not had it open and put a little here and
slope but nothing helps, it will not walk properly at idle
the drive up and down while standing idle. Sometimes there will be so
the loud sound that sounds if the engine makes a rejehop.
I have not done anything, just run and filled with petrol and team
service, it has gone 14.000 km now.

..have you ever cleaned the air filter, or adjusted the valves??
-
Compression test first. The valves are surely out of adjustment by now, as well as belt/roller wear. The filters, and spark plug should all be replaced. Oil change is a must. If you were to bring it to a shop expect a stiff repair bill. 14k is not alot of miles but NO SERVICE takes a toll.

Even the mechanic could not find anything strange

So is it running again?
-
Not trying to be funny I know there is a language barrier, but what is a "rejehop"
-
Wet fart! I just made one...
I took it as backfire. Most likely valve related...

Not trying to be funny I know there is a language barrier, but what is a "rejehop"
reje is Danish meaning "shrimp or prawn" and "hop" in Danish means the same in English. So a rejehop will mean a shrimphop or a jerking action...just like the shrimp.... something like that...

So is it running again?
No, it was not normal so I bought a new Kymco People S 251st
They are cheap because they are deleted?

Well good for you! Shrimp hop eh... Ok!
