Hey guys,
I was kick starting my zx50 and the kick starter pulled through my left side cover! I'm new to the scooter world and it still starts and runs, but I'm not sure how concerned I should be about running it like this or how complex it is to fix. Also where is the best place to get parts?

I ran across this on Ebay today: http://www.ebay.com/itm/04-05-06-07-KYMCO-ZX50-50-SCOOTER-SIDE-COVER-KICK-START-STARTER-LEVER-ARM-/400283300117?pt=Other_Vehicle_Parts&vxp=mtr&hash=item5d32be7115 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/04-05-06-07-KYMCO-ZX50-50-SCOOTER-SIDE-COVER-KICK-START-STARTER-LEVER-ARM-/400283300117?pt=Other_Vehicle_Parts&vxp=mtr&hash=item5d32be7115)

How's that for good JuJu!
It won't hurt anything to run it unless one more kick bends it into the belt or variator. If you have electric start, I'd just finish the job, and break it off. 60.00 bucks shipped is a fair price since it has the kick start parts already in it.
You missed the party Shaka. 008 ran his scoot off a cliff cause we frustrated him. Steriodo posted a vid he shot of it! ;)

"Insane in the Membrane" is the phrase I prefer...

how difficult is it to replace? Is it something a novice like me could do? Is there a specific tool i need aside from some good sockets?

shouldnt be difficult..here go's:
just remove the bolts from the old CVT cover
take old cover and shot kicker off
then its a simple job of putting the new CVT cover and working kicker on, fasten all bolts bk up and you should be good to go.
