Hey guys and gals, sorry about the long delay we've been very busy around the shop. Well we got the motor built and everything went smoothly. Only items that did not fit was the lowered rear gears and the cdi, (I think it fits a roketa)
we are currently using the stock CDI box....so the problem is the bike only goes 30mph before it hits the rev limiter?? what's the easiest way to derestrict this thing, looked a little bit on here and YouTube but can't find a straight answer??
the yoshimura pipe sounds awesome on this bike will post up a video by the weekend
here's the original thread http://www.kymcoforum.com/index.php?topic=5921.msg58976#msg58976 (http://www.kymcoforum.com/index.php?topic=5921.msg58976#msg58976)

Thanks! the bike runs great and has awesome low end power, we raced the bike against a super 8 150 and it held with it til 30 mph when they rev limiter shut it down

Just to get some interest here... Can you post a pict. of the cdi/wires? It is a simple deal to de restrict... I just forgot which one it is
-
you could always ask blue which one it is

Blue is a hero member on here, but he has had some real bad luck with his scoot....poor guy. i have a Agility and i just bought a new cdi because i didnt feel comfortable taking a hacksaw to it.

yea, I saw a vid on Utube where some guy cut the one end at a 45 degree angle about 10cm back??
I'm just gonna try cutting wires first, those are easy to fix lol
-
If I remember correct... There is a purple next to a pink. The pink gets cut
-
this is almost like disarming a bomb
"sh** man what wire!!"
"cut the pink one"
"CUT THE PINK ONE??"
"YEES CUT IT!!...Sh*t no!!"
*BOOOOM*

yep.....hit the nail on the head with that pic lmao
-
lmao, sooo which one is it?
-
Most likely the other one... Just cut it Bro! It can't hurt anything. I would warm the scoot up, and cut the wire. If it won't restart... put it back. I do think the pink one...

Here's a picture for everyone!!!

that a 2-stroke pipe?
-
2 rear shocks. Is that a 150 frame?
-
No the pipe is for a 50cc 4 stroke
The frame is a 2008, If that makes a difference
-
The bike is a 4t guys. 4t stroker kits are very rare, and pricey. That's why not many people try them. This F'er will be one of not many!

No, the bike has an 80cc bore kit and a stroker crank...

ah right, im gonna be fully kittin out the agility very very soon with a 80cc kit. i think i have everything listed. whats the diffrence between a stroker crank and a norm crank?
-
Oh, I thought this is a 2 stroke.

more stroke (up and down).. and $200...the motor has tons of compression, the starter will not even turn it over. so we just kick it
-
ah right i see now. cool. sounds like its a beast already.
-
It does alright, could use some taller gears
-
The Idea of a stroker crank is to increase the cc's in the cylinder, and along the way it increases the compression ratio. You MUST have a cylinder or head designed to use a stroker or the piston will top out into the head. Also a specific or modified piston Must be used so it will not bottom out on the crank. Stroking is the oldest trick in the book for creating more HP/Torque. And still the best in my opinion.
WK... Be SURE the 80cc kit you get has steel valve seats in the head. MOST do not. You can have some installed if you already have the head for around 50 bucks at a good motorcycle machine shop. I am having a head done right now. They can do a three angle valve set for better sealing at the same time for around 30.00 more.

Really sweet setup.
Let me ask, does the Super 8 like the idle high enough so the wheel spins? My factory idle RPM was much much slower.
Really nice bike there.
-
i think it was just from a cold start up, it would idle down when warm
