Title: Breaking it in
Post by: Wiz on April 14, 2012, 10:13:31 PM
So what's the recommended break-in method for a brand new GTi 300? Is there a certain max speed I should keep it under? If there is then for how long?

You got the manual with your bike.
You can either do that, or like some, not.
More often not.

Thanks for the info Cortez. I think I'll try the "Hard" break in described on that site.

I went for something in the middle on my Downtown, and same on my Kawasaki, but
I really couldn't ride that one too hard since it's was a tiny bit faster and it was my
first big bike - but that thing had 22k+ trouble free miles when I sold it.

Not a drop of oil missing from change to change.
