Okay I am new to the forums and probably should have spent more time before posting a question. But anyway here goes:
I have seen a little bit of a loss in my mileage recently and I am wondering if there is a cause. Don't get me wrong I am very pleased with getting about 75 mpg but when I first got it I thought that I was doing much better.
Does weather have anything to do with it?
(I do realize that allowing it to warm-up just lets gas go right through the machine.)
Could it need a tune up?
(It is actually getting one tomorrow.)
Could it be the way I ride?
Any help anyone could give would be appreciated. Thanks from Maryland.

At what mileage. The first sign that the belt is wearing is a loss of fuel mileage. Loss of performance comes later.
At least that's been my experience.
-
I've got just under 2000 km on it so far.
Like I said I can live with it right now but should I look into having the belt replaced. And if so about what mileage?
-
Usually, belts on Kymco scooter are replaced every 12.000 kms. There should be no problem with belt after only 2.000 kms.

Air filter? I just can not remember at which mileage it shall be replaced.

Have you derestricted it? I noticed my mileage was down around 75 mpg when it was restricted, but after derestricting it my first tank has given 90+ mpg.
-
Update on MPG since derestrict: 2 tanks of gas, 93 mpg and 92 mpg. This represents a 20% increase over the restricted version. Conclusion: derestricting increases performance, top speed, and fuel efficiency. ;D

it could be something simple like maybe bring up the air in your tires. I let mine out in the winter and back up in the summer full air well give you more speed.
