I would have to start all over modding. I want a box stock BOMB. Then I can tune.
Besides a People looks too gay. I have a tough guy image to maintain. 16" wheels doing 60 don't cut the mustard.
I'm looking at the Aprilla, and the Piaggio. I don't see the NRG in the US tho...
Anyone know whats involved in Gray market title'ing in the US.  The point behind all this is the time I have spent Modding is worth more if I can do it for someone else. All the time on MY scoot takes away from customers boat repairs. I NEED a Reliable new scoot. FAST/NOT GAY. (no offense to People owners) F' the fags... :-*

The sr 50 is supposed to be the fastest , but they are endorsed by the gay and lesbian alliance .

I can spray paint over their sticker on the fender. The SR is a rocket in 50cc. The only stimy is the Fuel Injection. I can see being happy with it for a short while but having to toss the whole system in favor of a carb. Mercury Marine tried the Hi Pres. Air pump systems YEARS ago, and they made power but failed too often because of all the parts involved relying on each other. One small out of wack, and where do you begin to trouble shoot. The NRGdd50 is new to me so I am not real familiar with the set up. I do like the 13" wheels/Piaggio engine (which is in the SR 50 as well). I'm not sure this is avail. in the US tho.
I worked for a guy once that only drove HI end Porsche's. He bought them in Germany, and had them shipped here. These were NOT US DOT approved cars. They were referred to as Gray Market. But he managed to title/register them. Seems like alot of effort/expense for a scooter but so is building a 70+mph zx50 every other week.
I am OFTEN wrong in my processes but I think if I start with the BEST 50cc machine I stand a better chance of hitting my goal...RELIABILITY.
Sooooooo I am looking for the BEST 50cc machine (so I can take it apart, and make it better).
Go on Axy... I left the door open, and the lite on! Actually I would greatly appreciate your input on the best/strongest/fastest 50cc scooter. Facts are your forte'. I could use a few right now.

Thats the scoot I am talking about. The DD 50 version has rear disc, and 13" wheels. There is a broad in my town I've been DYING to (get with) She has Pink/Black Zebra skin covers on her car seats. I LIKE Pink...

100 mph club... I LOVE it. I am definitely giving them a closer look. Too bad all the COOL stuff is in Europe. For the few dollars I may join for a sticker on the scoot.

I have ridden/worked on the pierspeed, and it is a quick lil bugger. Not real power but quick. The down side is the size/layout. It's like riding in a shopping cart. My knees hit my hands on the slightest turn, and the rear pegs make me feel like I'm about to launch over the bars. Nice style, and a fairly well made scoot tho. A little lessor than Kymco in my opinion

Blue Buddy... You can keep yours. I have a smaller lighter anchor for the boat. sorry

Now the DERBI has my attention... Never thought about a 50cc crotch rocket. Is that a US avail bike?  Most likely no due to the carb. But I'll look into it
Thanks

Zombie one question/petition. Can you explain why you so obsesses with the 50cc?

I mean if that the case with the derbi you could get a CF-moto V5, or even a sach 125 madass! (and those are nice, psecially the sach)

I prefer the 50cc's because I LOVE blowing the foot pegs of the types of scoots/bikes you mentioned. Ive beaten Harleys at 300 yard clips.
I am a mechanic by trade, and selling my skills on the loudest most obnoxious MINI scoot EVER has a certain charm to it. It's great advertising for me in a small town. I know every cop/sheriff/state patrolman within a hundred miles of my home, and I get the same reaction every time I ZZZZZZZOOOOOOOMMMMMM past them. A Nod, and a Smile. Try passing a cop on the Harley... It's like being a kid on Xmas EVERY DAY. I just ride around grinning.

Sorry guys The Derbi will cost almost 12g's to import. Maybe more. The easy part is getting one shipped in SEVERAL boxes dis assembled, and marked as scooter parts (smuggle it in) The hard part is titling/registering it. You'd be a felon if caught. (forging certificates)

I just got off Scoot Inv. and am buying the Aprilla SR 50 Factory. I've talked with Rich (High Gain Tuning) and he is suppling all the goodies to make this a Fuel Injected f***ing MONSTER. I have located several dealers that are sitting on 2009-2012 models NEW in the show room. It sells for 2,300.00 for the '09, and as high as 3,500 for the 2012's. I don't have the totals on all of HGT's goodies yet but he can transform these from 3hp oem to 17hp 70mph monsters. It's all in the cpu/mapping (and a few other assorted tech. gizmos) 70cc's is all that's needed. (Malossi water cooled kit). I also got an MSD FULLY programmable cdi that is mapped to your liking on you computer using software provided by MSD. That is going in the ZX along with a new windjammer pipe. I've spent now 57 of the last 75 hours setting all this up. Here's some links to check it all out:

The Phongeer is going on the Malossi engine that I will re bore to 48mm, and the Windjammer, and MSD are going on the Ruima engine that I am raising the timings to 190 exh, 130 trans, and 126 boost. Also raising the compression to 12.5:1

I've been REAL busy in the past three days. I have the Verucci Ruk (4t 50mm) running. The Malossi ready for boring, The Ruima ready for timing changes/honing, and all those goodies on the way. Also bought the Malossi primaries for a final drive ratio of 6.3:1 on the ruima.
Forgot... New Jasil Vars for every one. 3:00 am Time for 3 hrs sleep to pay for all this sh**. Guess I'm keeping the Z after all. That will be my weekend warrior... I'll keep the Ape as a commuting "sleeper", and the Vruk is for running the dogs... They run about 2-3 miles at 15-20 miles an hour 3 times a week. Keeps them from killing kids. I have 4 of them Pure black with white markings on the chests. Two males, and 2 females

Those dogs ARE my life. I have to keep them busy/entertained/running or they would certainly be on World News Tonight. I only have one that is a genetic throw back... Andre' is his name, and NO ONE at all is allowed to move around him. When my braver friends come over to chill he is sitting on my foot staring at whom ever he determines is the strongest one in the room. Don't try to pick ANYTHING up if you drop it... Just leave that joint right where it is, and I'll get it for you. He's my baby boy... Since a puppy he has slept on my pillow, and now that he is grown He nuzzels his nose under my chin, and sleeps.

I totally agree with the statements made this forum, its poss the best forum ever. We have a good mixed bag on here and everyone is good at helping out or yankin each others chain a bit too at times  ;D

I joined a Vespa forum a few months ago and it was like the land of the luddites, un believable how anal those guys are. After getting several complaints about photos i posted of my Vespa project i gave up arguimg and havent been back. I even had one guy complain cos i wanted to use nylock nuts instead of rivets (with the official crisscross markings of course) to hold my floor runners on  ::). lol. Must be like going to a party at the old folks home at one of their rallies. Thats what i like about here, we're all open minded to try anything once  , no matter how ridiculous it may sound :D

Vespas rock, its the Vespa riders thats the problem. Maybe me and zombie can corrupt the system like a virus and bring it all crashing down from within?   :D

Thing is these guys seem to forget that in the 60's the Mods used to fit all sorts of non piaggio and non standers parts to their scooters, that was the attraction, make your little boring scooter into a unique piece that no-one else has. Now these idiots want to get all het up cos somebody didnt use genuine 1972 Italian glue from the factory in Pontedera to stick on the Piaggio badge. JEEZ! I never knew such closed  minded folk existed any more?

Think i'll go order a Lambretta mudguard off ebay and use it  just to piss them off  :D

Ciao.

Remember you said your dog breed comes from the canary islands? I meant to say, did you know thats where the name of the islands comes from? I always assumed it was because of canary birds but i found out on a holiday there its from the dogs that lived on the islands (canines-canaries).

Imagine that, an island full of Andre's.......GULP!!!  :o lol.

My house is INSANE. I have 12 cats/kittens, and those four living in two bedrooms. An Island full would be little difference. It's kinda cool watching them threaten everything in town, and a kitten will walk up and jump on the dogs head. The cats are second in command after me, and the dogs respect that. Just like raising kids eh!

That's just some dumb ass inbred from Engel Land. In the US we would just call him a Goober! He does dress well tho. Must be someone else picking his outfits...
I don't know how you deal w/ England. I'm Irish ancestry, and Despise the upper crust English Hooide Tooidies. Some things are just in your blood i guess. Given a choice I'd rather have a beer with Adolf vs. tea with the Queen mum. It's a hypocrisy thing... although I do like the "Off with their heads" bit.

We tend to just ignore anything the English say up here so it doesnt really bother us too much. Yeah those posh toffs are a joke, cant stand them either myself.

We have our own parliment and government here now, seperate from England, tho we are still ultimately ruled from London, for now. We are having an independence referendum in 2014 to vote if we want to leave the UK and get our own country back. The English politicians are worried, i cant wait but just hope my countrymen dont believe all the hype and lies from england and vote to leave. If we gain independece we would be ranked 7th wealthiest nation on the planet, i think enland would be ranked in the high teens or 20's, maybe lower.

Think it is a genetic thing, same species but different breeds, like poodles and rottweilers. Guess that where that zombie mindset comes from my celtic bro  ;D

Lovin the starburst ad lol.

Contrary to popular belief tho we dont all actually walk around in our kilts all day swinging Claymores around  ;D

Dont kno where youre at WK but im guessin it not the south of England?  I cant stand most of the southern softies especially those in the palace in london, Geordies, Scousers, Brummies or anyone in the North are practically scots anyway.

We're like an old married couple who dont talk anymore and dont have the same interests, only staying together for the sake of the kids. Better to get a divorce and go lead our own lives, irreconcilable differences. Either that or we will go on resenting and argueing with each other until one of us snaps, kills the other, and buries them under the patio.

I have english friends also btw who live up here and they all agree they want independence and want to stay here. Think we need to get some oind of Scottish Citizenship test in place,

"Awrite laddie, huv ye goat ginger hair?"
"No"
"Naw?.......Wit aboot fightin, drinkin and swearin, dae ye like that?"
"Well not really"
"Jeezus, wits up wi ye? Whit aboot deep fried food, Irn Bru, smokin and shouting?"
"Not really one's preferences old chap"
"Well f*** off back over the border them son, yer nae gud tae us, next!"

"Name"
"Oooo my head hurts so bad, i really went overboard last night, please dont shout"
"Yer in, just watch that accent son, get this sasanach a kilt and a hair of the dog. Next!"

Least thats how it would work when im in charge  :D

I dont hate the english, i just hate being ruled over by anyone.

Forgot about the F'n mountains... Ok, got it. Grab the torches fellas. We're gonna invade Egypt instead. Once they unleash the Mummies we'll light them up like fireflies. Then we can use the pyramids to build a ramp to Crow ate ya.

I have three dealers that are "competing". I have a side deal I'm waiting to complete with High Gain Tuning, and will be moving on the Aprilla as soon as the first deal is finalized. I have all the parts for the ZX in hand (both engines minus the MSD unit from HGT). The Vruk is wired, and ready for finish paint, and I have 10 straight days of big customer jobs to complete to pay for the Ape. So as I figure 15-20 days to Ape landing.
Nothing like having 4 scoot projects, and my customers to balance.

For this next whole month it is 98% Marine engine services(outboard/inboard). Oil/plugs/linkages/batteries. All the yearly service for the summer season. I do have one scoot to build. It is the Pierspeed 50 that I worked on in the fall. They want it ready for the Carrabelle Speed Week. on the 20th or 21st I think. Just a carb/pipe job. I keep this time of year open for mainly engine service as there are a few thousand boats in town (most people have 2-3 boats here), and they all want to go in the water at the same time.
That's how I can afford 4,5-5,500 for the Ape. I can hardly afford ZX fuel in December-January. SUMMERS HERE!
