Title: can i put a stereo on my 2007 500 exciting?

I would get a system for my helmet myself. Had radios on other bikes, could not really hear any of them with any quality at all. :-*

PERFECT! A small 20watt 2 chanel amp mounted in the seat compartment, and an RCA to Micro stereo adapter is all you need. You can then plug in an MP3 or your phone for the source. It works great in any application as there is no "head unit" to disappear or get damaged from the weather..A 20watt amp will not need any extra ventilation as the heat sinks alone are enough. Any larger, and you need cooling fans, and a Buffer Capacitor in line to the +12 volt. I ordered a shark system from www.gooddeals18.com (http://www.gooddeals18.com).

I enjoy it! I can hear my music at speeds of 80mph indicated.

I do have a givi tall screen, however still cut just below my eyes.

I can hear it fine. i don't have time to tak epics right now but if you want me to just say so.

BTW its a 100watt system under the seat. no problems to date (except speaker brackets which i can lead you to the right way)

I ride my KYMCO just for the lone reason i can listen to my music on it, however, then i remember how quiet it is.

+12 volts fused off the Ign. switch for the Trigger wire. +12 volts fused off the battery for the amp power. -12 volts on the frame/battery for the amp gnd.. Input wires from the "source, and speakers out. The critical parts are SOLID connections, and a SOLID mount for the amp. From start to finish 3-4 hours. If you wind up with Ignition noise thru the speakers try a different ground point
