hi just wondering if any one can help me iv just brought this bike and the spring had come of so the bloke held it up with a shoe lace could any one help with a pic of the spring on the bike thanks ???

if its a spring you need you can go to home depot or lowes and they sale springs in the hardware dep.
you can just cut theam down to fit .or by one close to it.

I held mine up with a bungee cord for months :D. Worked good just ugly.
Yep Lowe's and HD have them. Just measure first. I had to buy two because I didn't. Tighter is better. That stupid stock one fell off probably 20 times before I finally lost it. I'd have to search and search for that damn thing every time >:(. New one's never come off.

Ohh.. :o
Your talking about the main stand. Same difference.

Get a brake shoe retainer spring from a 1990's Chevy 1 ton pick up at any auto parts store. 3 bucks, and fits
-
Sorry no pict. but you'll see the post on the stand, and a hole in the frame straight above it (about 5") with the stand in the down position
-
Third time is a charm. If the post is missing (broken off) that explains the shoe string. Have a post welded on for a few quid>
No drilling in holes or screws. They wont last. that spring is STRONG
