Title: I have suddenly become kind of cool. It's weird.

I've been getting all kinds of really positive attention on my new 2012 Yager GT 200i.

People at stop lights are commenting and asking questions. 

Friends say they love the light blue color and refer to it as different.

I see heads turning everywhere.

At gas stations, I'm getting the "thumbs up".

Friends love the modern style of the Yager.

I haven't even had it a full week yet.

This is very cool.

I traveled about 160 miles on 2 gallons of gas. 

It's almost like a having a dog, I just need to see if it attracts the girls.  :-)

The Yager's looks are starting to grow on me.....I'm starting to think it's kind of 'cool' looking.   I also think I'm cool.  Well sometimes.  But the facts are I'M AN OLD GUY ON A SCOOTER!   Maybe with the continued rise in gas prices the Yager will even be cooler.

My Super 9 always gets great comments at gas stations.

When you're riding you are part of the action.  Immersed in the world.  When you're in a car, it's like you're looking at a TV screen.

I've been on countless motorcycle or scooter trips where I just suddenly realize...THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO TRAVEL!  Then that stupid grin happens and I feel ageless!

You old guys remember Michael Parks with a Sportster* at the traffic light and the sweaty face guy in the station wagon said,"I wish I was like you"? Well, we are us in life size and it's Mike Parks in miniature, sort of.....

I rode this last weekend with my friend.  We both amused ourselves on how we get to where we are going on our bikes way to soon.  I said that it seems to take me 5 times longer to get to his house when I'm driving the cage.

Just thoughts.

i agree with all of the above, i also have a yeager.

price was so good , bike was even better , i swore i'd never sell it .

now its sitting under a cover waiting for its new owner.

i got a new people 300 to replace the yeager - hope i did the right thing. time will tell.

rode new scot yesterday 200 miles with local scooter club. temp was 75 in afternoon. had a ball.

Thanks, YagerMySter, for starting this topic.  I think we're all grateful for the wonderful "alternative life" we've discovered on two wheels.  Good to voice our joy once in a while.  Will B said it best so far in his second post.  That's exactly what goes through my head sometimes.  ;)

I agree, Wil B waxes it poetically well.  

I am so surprised about how fast the word got around at work.  it was almost instantly that people I met in the halls were asking about the new ride.  A couple of days on the Yager and the F150 had a whole new feeling.  I really appreciated my truck much more.  Maybe it's the huge contrast or maybe it the choices that makes me happy.  Yesterday it was raining and there was a chance of Thunder Storms so the F150 was a no brainer.  But still, it only took a few minutes for my blood to start simmering.  That doesn’t happen when I'm riding on two wheels.

Buy a scooter, it cheaper than a Psychiatrist.

 When asked why I like the 50cc "modded" scoots so much I just say "Take it up the street for a ride." Almost everyone asks where they can get one!
Different strokes, and all but scooters are just plain FUN!
