Mine did that last year, always over 35mph or nearer top speed, i took apart my variator and clutch assembly and cleaned it all up then replaced my belt and it went away. Think my old belt was on the limit but may have been dirt etc in my variator round the boss etc. Been fine since anyway.

in what way was it vibrateing if it was the steering you may have to tighten up the triple tree.

Dont know about Scuzz but mine felt like a vibration thro the whole bike, felt it thro the seat and thro my feet on the footplate. Was never at low speeds, only near 40. Think maybe my belt was slipping or not gripping enough due to wear or my drive boss which was pretty grubby, thats the only things i changed fine now anyway.
Scuzz is it derestricted? Got the 82 jet in if it is?

Try tightening the engine mounts. They wear loose over time.

Been trying out your riding style Word, feet on the back plates, seems thats made for taller riders :D
No more backache, no more hitting your knees when turrning and it feels a lot more comfy too.
Still ride normally if its heavy rain cos i pull my parka over my knees and it keeps me dry but for dry or damp days this is my new position. Cheers for the heads up on that.
Feels like im on a sports bike.................................till i open the throttle ;D

Yes it's derestricted etc. I'll try the engine mounts. Cheers.

Me 2 im going to tighten mine up also while its apart. ounce a year or so I go threw the whole scoot and tighten things up.

There are sooooo many things that can cause vibrations/harmonics. The only fix is hands on everything. Slingers might be a drive boss wear issue or loose flywheel, worn ramp plate. (Just guessing here) Vibration could start anywhere on the scoot. Even a loose fuel tank. Bottom line is take it apart, and inspect everything.
Scuzz, W/ the scoot on the center stand try to move the engine by twisting, pulling, pushing the rear wheel. You may find something that way. It will take some force but ANY movement is too much.
