I was hoping for a flat black performance exhaust; it goes with my custonm look. I did not want chrome. Thanks. Any idea how much?

Hey Alex, thanks for the info on the Dayco belt. I received and will try it on next belt change. At the rate I ride, that will not be much longer.

cant do that  flashplayer download  from work IT Gestapo wont allow..will do it from home got Java there
I thought I could find it on MRP site ( great site havnt seen it before) but it does not seem to be there...they got Kevlar belts though

well I downloaded the Flashplayer and now I can see it..still cant hear it but what the heck I just go Vroom Vroom and its almost as good as the real thing ..got the sound slider 'way up but.. nothing...I can hear videos I record on my camera of my dogs coursing when I play them back ..I dunno, its a mystery :-\

anyway, I got a new muffler fitted today and the scoot sounds just like a 500cc thumper used to when I was a lad.it does not look any different as I had the shop fit the heat covers back on , but it sure sounds different !! ;D

no its a Honda muffler made up to fit the pipe of the Xciting. I would send a picture but it does not look any different from the side than the stock one as I had the heat shield fitted to it from the stock, its bit shorter but again because the shield is there it dont look shorter,,but its a lot lighter which would not be hard to do the stock muffler is HEAVY.  the outlet pipe is about 50% bigger in dia .....the difference to the handling of the scoot is amazing, feels lots more flexible. I will send some feedback re effect on MPG when I get some miles  done, wont be for  a while though we aill have heavy rain for the rest of the week as there is a cyclone coming down the coast, and I am off to the US on holiday on Sat wont be back for a month

Any additional update on this exhaust/muffler?  I went to the website mentioned and the exhaust unit is not listed. 

It sounds and looks great from the video.  Would be a nice aftermarket upgrade.
