Title: Does the DT 300 Owner's Manual address oil filters?

A member of the People 300 GTI forum posted a question concerning where the oil filter is located and what the part number is for the oil filter on the 300 GTI?  The People 300 GTI Owner's Manual does not mention an oil filter at all.  I am assuming that the two bikes share the same engine and arguably the same filter.  This reminds me of the very early Japanese bikes. Their manuals, except for Honda, were infamous. Any help here? Thanks.

How do you turn off the oil service light?  I can't find this in the manuel.

Thanks to Munks for the info on the Downtown 300 oil filter, etc.   Very helpful.  Just what I needed to know for changing the oil and filter on the People GT 300i.   My local dealer says he can get the filters from Kymco in Spartensburg, SC.   It just takes a few days.   In the meantime, I'll continue to look for another retailer for a little better price if possible.  Thanks again.

Hiflo  #566   should be around $7-8.

Can you tell me a source for the HF566 ?  The HiFlo web site indicates they are currently unavailable.

you can get the high flo for about 9 bucks (dealer will want 24 bucks or so) from jenny....at tnt cycles.....

I googled     HF #566    and got a hit from amazon for two.  The $hipping was the same
as two filters.
