Title: Can't ride in bad weather!?!
Post by: AVGuy on January 14, 2012, 11:56:00 PM
Haven't been able to ride much at all in the last month. It's either raining, too stinking cold or snowing. We had about an inch of snow Thursday and I saw a guy on a little scoot with both feet out on either side acting as outriggers to stay upright! I hope he made it where he was going.

Looking forward to warmer weather.

Urbestfriend rode Monday Morn. 25 deg. F &  Tuesday 32 deg. F  (South Central Indiana)
Then it rained and snowed here.  However...Out on the 4 Lane today,  I passed
a funeral escort (Harley) by himself around 16 deg.   My plan is that if it's dry
and somewhere around 30,  I'll be out.   Don't know what it is,  but I love riding.

Winter is a good time to catch up on other projects and plan for the Spring riding season.
Safety Gear ?  Scooter Mods ?    Scooter Maintenance ?  Training Courses ?
Check it all out on the Internet.

Happy New Year

I use my bike through the winter. -10celsius was the lowest temp, because in colder temp I can't start the engine :D :D
I have an Oxford Hot Grip that is the most important thing. If yo have a warm trousers, you don't need Tucano, but you can choose.
And that's all... Only the fresh snow, and the icy road is my limit.
