Title: Agility 125 seat modification
Post by: mmaxima on January 06, 2012, 08:28:18 PM
I'm 6"1' and 186lb and found the seat too hard and slippery due to the slope of the seat and lack of foot rest space. Some scooters have foot rest space near the bottom of the handle bar. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do about it. I've found some seat modification that just look like a seat of a maxi scooter. Has anyone done seat modification? Welcome to show your pictures here.

It sounds similar to my Super 8.
I just added some 1" open cell foam to the front of the seat.
Cost me $4.

Agility's stock seat is great compared to the Super 8's.. a lot more padding,
no forward slope etc.

I felt more comfortable sitting at where the front seat and rear seat meets. But the slope and braking kept pushing me forward. With my height, I think the center of gravity is a bit high and I need lean forward. It makes the pushing forward worse. It also hurts my back. My plan is the shave off some foam and replace it with something softer so I can lower the center of gravity and make the seat more comfortable. The picture I post also have lower back rest. Hope my luggage is big enough so I can take the seat back to Taiwan to get the modification done.
