Is there is difference in the fit and finish of all the plastic?
The one older model I have seen did not impress me...

I've ridden the first production year of the People 300 and did not have any complaints about the
fit and finish. In fact, it was a lot better then on my 2007 Kawasaki ER6F which was almost twice
the price and had visible and audible faults in that area.

Other then disliking the painted plastic around the dash/console, which is a personal preference,
the fit & finish was at the very top of it's class. Scooters like BV/Beverly 300/350 (2011-2012)
might seem built better at first glance, but after a few years they start rattling like crazy, and
you'll never see that happen on any Kymco from my experience.

Just like with older Japanese cars.. the interior might look outdated and poorly built at first, but
10 years later it still looks, feels and works the same as when it was new, which is something
you can't say for Italian or French cars..

I wouldn't worry about it.

I am very impressed with the fit and finish of my 2012 300 Gti.  IMHO it is better than the fit and finish on my Aprilia 250 SportsCity.
