I'm in the process of looking for a scooter. I can get the 2012 People 150 for MSRP or maybe a little lower. I also found a 2009 People 150 with about 400 miles selling for about $1500. Is there much of a difference between the 2009 and 2012 models? Thanks for your response :)

Well, I've done as much research as I can handle right now...I think they are the same scooter...let me know if you discover any differences...thanks :-)

Looks to be identical. Not sure what the MSRP is but $1500 sounds like a great deal.

Ya, it does sound like a good deal. The only thing I don't like is that the warranty is expired. Then again, Kymco is high quality so maybe I wouldn't have any problems...

Well, I decided to get the People 150 from a local dealer. Got it for $2800 out the door. Picking it up tonight :-) Pretty excited:-) YAY!!!

Congrats!! The People 150 is just a great scooter! Mine gets run a lot, and does fine at 50-55 mph. That is accounting for a speedometer that is off by about 5 mph. If it reads 60 it's really doing about 55. I get about 82-85 mpg.
Enjoy.
