Just got back from Paris and was shocked to see everyone riding their scooters in 35 degree (F) temps even in the rain so I took note and decided to make a few purchases:

Now looking at the Givi windscreen and the Bestem 929 top case but will see how this all fits and works first.

I felt guilty for leaving my scooter garaged when the Parisians were riding.

My Agility is ridden daily, regardless of temperatures, but I used to be a postman so I'm used to the cold.
Everything up to 2" or so of snow is fair game!

35 F is quite warm in the winter time.

I'd say 95% of people had those Termoscuds on their scooters and about 65% had the handlebar muffs and about 15% had hand guards or some sort of wind guard. I could have bought all of this stuff while I was in France but the cost was actually higher than buying it online and having it shipped but that was in downtown Paris so prices were probably inflated.

will give a report with pictures once I have everything installed.

I'll have to check it out, I've been off an on looking for a suit, and better gloves. Even though I have a good car, I still often ride. Surprised more people don't. I see more riders come out when it's 45F+, but not many. My cut off seems to be about 25 -30F. Not because of the cold, but because my breath fogs and ices up in the morning, making it hard to see. I wonder if some of the scuba anti-fog stuff would help...

Just installed my new Givi windscreen I got for Christmas.  For me, it makes a huge difference.  No more head shaking at high speeds and my hands are out of the draft.  I was only going to keep it for the winter but I thinks I am going to leave it on.  It was very easy to install and I am no mechanic.  I did have to go to a local hardware store and buy a nylon spacer for the center Kymco logo plate.  I actually tried rubber o rings as well but like the nylon better.
