Title: Riding my GT 300i more than my Vespa

I own a Vespa GTS 300ie and recently bought a new Kymco GT 300i.  The bikes ride so differently that there is little redundancy in owning these two 300s.  I've owned scooters from 160 to 650 cc and I prefer the weight and power of a 300 for the inner-city type of riding I do.  Of late I have been favoring the Kymco over the Vespa.  Yesterday on a club ride on the Vespa I came to the conclusion that the steering and whole  front end of the Kymco feels much steadier and more positive than the Vespa - probably due to the greater front end weight and larger wheels on the Kymco.  The Kymco just plain feels more secure -especially on our roads which have taken a beating due to the drought we've had this year.  The more I ride the Kymco the more pleased I am with my purchase.
