Title: kymco mongoose loosing spark above idle

on my daughters mongoose it will start fine and idle for a while but if I give it any gas it will stall, at first I figured fuel the I changed the carb with another from my wifes quad which was known good, cleaned the petcock and tank and changed fuel filter. installed a spark tester and ran it and the spark cuts out as soon as I give it any throttle. I tried a different coil and plug. any ideas??

I would only be guessing here, but I wouldbe looking at the cdi. Can you change it with the one from the otheq quad.

 I tried the different cdi, I think its the pulse coils by the magneto, anyone have any experience
