Title: Plug and Play LED Flasher relay for $8.95
Post by: JustWantToRide on November 01, 2011, 11:36:47 PM
This LED flasher relay is only a 2 wire - but it plugs right into the stock plug and works great.  The hole in the plastic mounting tab needs to be opened up a bit to mount it where the stock relay was - but that's simple.  The only downside is that it doesn't make noise like the stock one.  I might have to get a little buzzer from Radio Shack if I miss it much...

I paid $19.95 from Custom LED's for mine - then a friend showed me this one which is identical.

Did you replace your stock bulbs with LED ones and if so,where did you get them.Do they plug right in or is modification required? This looks like the plug on a super 9,any idea if it will fit?

I replaced the bulbs with leds, and added majicblinker modules so the signals are on, then blink off.  This flasher relay is a generic type item so I would think it would fit "plug and play" on your scoot also.  Check your current bulbs - the Xciting has different bulbs front to back.  The 2 links I have in this post have had the brightest bulbs at the best prices that I've found.  I have other posts that list the exact bulbs I used - and they are much brighter than the bulbs that I've seen other people buy.  Your super9 will probably use the same size bulbs - you just need to check if the alignment buttons are directly opposed or closer to each other (European or US), or a mix like mine were.
